Selection Procedure:

For Govt. quota, selection is made on the basis of appearing the Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. and after qualifying, the candidate has to face the central counseling of Govt.

Eligibility:

  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent to any State Nursing Registration Council. 
  • In case a candidate has registered his/her name in other State Nursing Council, he/she has to submit reciprocal registration certificate from the ONMC within one month from the last date of admission.
  • The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from any INC recognized institution.
  • Must have passed Odia up to M.E. standard in case of Govt. Institution and Govt. seats in Private Institutions.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit for the course.
  • Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply (10% seats reserved for male candidates).

Job Opportunity:

After completion of this Course students are employed in Govt. Hospitals & Special Health Care Centres, Private Clinics, Rehabilitation Centres, Sports Centres and Sports Teams, Community & Mental Health Centres etc.
